The incident took place during a birthday party of the grand daughter of jeweller Hariom Gupta, police said.
Arun was taken to community health centre where doctors declared him dead.
Additional Superintendent of Police Brijesh Srivastava said that following the incident, police raided Ishu's house, but he had fled by then.
The body was sent for post-mortem on Tuesday, he added.

According to police the incident took place late on Monday night at Sidhauli village under Meerganj police station, around 250km from capital Lucknow.
32-year-old Arun Kumar Valmiki, was allegedly shot at from close range by a youth, identified only by his first name Ashu, police added.
Though Valmiki was rushed to a government hospital, doctors declared him brought dead.
Police quoted eyewitnesses as saying that before the fatal shot the accused had fired several shots in the air in celebration, a phenomenon which had led to the accidental death of many people across the country.
The DJ was performing at the house of a local businessman Ajay Gupta who had thrown a party to celebrate his daughter’s birthday.
Police quoted Valmiki cousin Ajay as saying that Ashu had demanded playing of the song Tamanche pe disco from the Bollywood film starring Saif Ali Khan and Sonakshi Sinha.
When Valmiki refused, Ashu allegedly whipped out a country-made pistol and fired at his chest. The accused fled from the scene immediately after the incident.
“A team has been deployed to arrest the accused. Raids have been carried out at several places,” said additional superintendent of police (rural) Brijesh Srivastava.
Earlier this year, the Delhi high court had sentenced a 35-year-old man to 25 months in jail for killing a groom’s uncle during a wedding ceremony in the national capital in 2012. The court had also asked the government to tighten the procedure for granting arms license, while highlighting the menace of celebratory firings.
